Gas cylinder maintenance operations in the region were not harmonised and were known to have hidden costs. I led functional stakeholders through an analysis of operational and vendor data. I developed a sourcing model that enabled procurement stakeholders to seek competitive market bids for the maintenance of gas cylinder. The outcome enabled each subsidiary in Europe to achieve and sustain more than 10% in annual cost savings.
