Industrial gas companies in Australia & New Zealand needed a shared industry forum. The CEOs of these companies asked me to set up an industry association to represent the interests of the gas industry, and foster collaboration on safety, regulatory and technical matters. Within two years, eleven industry policies, networks with governments and the International Harmonisation Council were achieved.
