A newly-built and automated gas cylinder filling factory was not performing to expectations, and a decision was made to retrofit the factory with efficient layout, work flow and gas cylinder filling technology. With the engagement and participation of local employees, I designed the new workflow, replaced existing machines and robotics with no factory shutdowns. Factory productivity, reliability and safety met and exceeded expectations (In operation to this day).
